San Antonio Alumnae Chapter (SAAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is deeply committed to advancing educational excellence and public service. In alignment with the Sorority’s mission, SAAC proudly offers two annual scholarships designed to support outstanding students in their pursuit of higher education.
SAAC Public Scholarship
A scholarship awarded to African American female high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, strong leadership, and a commitment to community service. This scholarship reflects our dedication to empowering young women and investing in the future of our communities.
Application ClosedJoyce Dawson Sowells Scholarship
A $1,500 scholarship awarded to current college students majoring in Education who will be rising juniors or seniors. This scholarship honors students who exemplify academic excellence, leadership, and active involvement in service, while pursuing careers in education.
